The Peanut-less Flight-plan....

LINK: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060603/ap_on_re_us/brf_us_airways_peanuts So, I came across this article this morning. Basically it says that due to requests/concerns/fears from various peanut allergy groups US Airways will no longer be serving peanuts on their flights. OK, I don't really care much for peanuts anyway, but it does leave me curious... If you are allergic to peanuts just don't eat them on US Airways flights. Personally it just appears to be one of those "No Duh" situations. And don't start emailing me that the person may not know they are allergic to peanuts. The risk of someone unaware of their peanut allergy eating peanuts on a US Airways flight is no greater than that of someone not aware of their allergy to yellow food colouring eating the cheap corn dog on the same flight. If all of the commercial airlines try to cater to every allergy we will all by flying in plastic bubbles on a plane with no windows in case someone has an allergy to sunshine.
